Exhibition: Consuelo Rodriguez

You are warmly invited to the opening of the exhibition Controccanto by Consuelo Rodriguez – painter, sculptor, poet, and art therapist – on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at 5:30 PM at Villa Vipolže.

Join us for an evening of art and experience her remarkable works.

Consuelo Rodriguez (born 1962, Trieste) taught at the Tiepolo Academy of Fine Arts in Udine and was invited as a painting instructor at the International Academy of Art Kolbermoor (Germany).

She trained with renowned artists including Hermann Nitsch, Isabel Quintanilla, Markus Lüpertz, and the Zhou Brothers, working in painting, sculpture, and large-scale formats. Her work has been exhibited in Italy and internationally (New York, Chicago, Miami, Shanghai, Berlin, London, Paris, Salzburg, Istanbul) and is held in public and private collections across Europe.

She has received multiple awards for painting and poetry, with collections translated into English, Slovenian, Albanian, and Romanian. She won the International Literature Prize in Naples in 2022 and 2024.

The exhibition will be on view until May 31st, 2026.
