Swedish composer and saxophonist Otis Sandsjö, based in Berlin, is the founder and leader of the group Y-OTIS. His musical signature brings forth the sound of his distinctive, genre-blending, forward-looking liquid jazz.

The expression of Y-OTIS – with Sandsjö joined by Dan Nicholls on synthesizer, Petter Eldh on electric bass and Moog, and Jamie Peet on drums – can best be described as a sonic mosaic, fusing fragments of hip hop, electronics, and jazz.
