You are warmly invited to the 15th edition of BCMF!
Brda Contemporary Music Festival, a festival of creative music and improvisation, will celebrate its 15th anniversary from 11 to 13 September 2025 in the heart of Goriška Brda, a region known for its blend of Slovenian, Friulian, and Italian cultures. This unique connection represents one of the festival’s key goals: to create a meeting point for the Italian-Slovenian and international music scenes by involving young musicians, fostering collaboration with established artists, and continuing their invaluable work.
The festival brings contemporary creative music into dialogue with other art forms, such as visual arts and poetry, enriching the local environment and opening up this once borderland to an international panorama.
This year’s festival will again take place in the former cinema hall in Medana and at the Gradnik and Zorzut Memorial House.
