2nd GRAND PRIX BRDA - COLLIO

The international bike race "Brda-Collio Grand Prix" will take place in the municipality of Brda on 27 March 2025.
The start and finish of the race will be in Dobrov and it is included in the international calendar of the World Cycling Union, UCI class 1.2. The special feature of the race is that it takes place in the Slovenian and Italian part of Brda (Collio), so it is a cross-border cycling race.
The start of the race will be in front of the Dobrovo Castle at 11 AM. From the start, cyclists will ride straight through Medana and Plešiva to the border crossing with Italy. At the Vipolže border crossing, the race re-enters Slovenia. At the junction by the petrol station, the race turns left towards Dobrovy. At the roundabout at Dobrovo, the race turns towards the Dobrovo Castle.
PROGRAMME:
- between 9.45 and 10.45 - presentation of the teams and signing of the start list
- 11 AM - start of the race, Dobrovo Castle
- 3 PM - Estimated race finish, Dobrovo Castle
Race route: Dobrovo (castle) - Medana - Plešivo - Plešivo border crossing - Ceglo (Zegla) - Vipolže border crossing - Dobrovo
For the duration of the race, there will be a complete closure of the entire above route (both Slovenian and Italian sides), with the exception of the roundabout at Dobrovo.
A full road closure will be in effect along the entire race route from 10.30 AM to 3 PM.
