St. Martin's Festival (November)
When autumn shades spill across the rolling hills of Brda, nature slows down – yet the region comes alive with a festive spirit. It’s the time when we invite you to capture the magic of a landscape where tradition, flavour, and authenticity intertwine.
In the idyllic medieval village of Šmartno – the very heart of Brda – every street breathes in the festive air, every glass of wine tells the story of the land, and every local dish warms the soul. Here, we traditionally celebrate St. Martin’s Day – the feast of autumn, wine, and good company.
This is a celebration that unites wine lovers, food enthusiasts, curious visitors, and locals in a relaxed yet remarkable atmosphere. More than 25 winemakers, 10 chefs, and 20 stalls come together to create an unforgettable food and wine experience – enriched with local music, friendly faces, and the warmth of the Brda autumn.
St. Martin’s Day in Brda is more than an event – it’s an experience, a memory, a story. It’s a moment to hold the very essence of autumn in your hands – right where the young wine is born, maturing with love and cherished across the world.
