The most popular and well-known cultural and tourist event, the Cherry Festival, is quite special this year, because it celebrates its 52nd anniversary!

It will feature ethnological, cultural and sports events, eno-gastronomic specialities and fun for all generations.

Visit us the second weekend in June (9 and 10 June 2018), when interesting events will be organised within the scope of the Cherry Festival, full of cherries, culinary delights and fun. This year's festival will take place in Dobrovo, where all visitors will be able to visit stalls with craft products, home made delicacies and delicious Brda cherries.

We start on SATURDAY, 9 June 2018, when the BRDA WEDDING will also take place. The newly-weds will celebrate and dance in the courtyard of the renaissance Dobrovo Castle.

Those who are ready for a lot of fun, come to the Cherry Concert! The legendary Slovenian rock group Šank Rock and the Happy Ol0 McWeasel group from Štajerska are coming to Brda. Tickets are already available on www.mojekarte.si and at TIC Brda (Grajska cesta 10, 5212 Dobrovo).

What about SUNDAY, 10 June 2018? You cannot miss the traditional procession of carriages that enthuses all visitors every year with original and funny ideas featured by the people of Brda, who have been preparing for this event for several months.
And there are also lots of thing to do for children!
On Saturday and Sunday they will be able to try out different things, playground equipment, dance and have lots of fun.
